- Day 1
Arrival in Saint Petersburg. Meeting by local guide, transfer to hotel Anabel and check in. Free time. - Day 2
Breakfast. You start your visit of Saint Petersburg. City tour of Saint Petersburg to discover city main sights: Winter Palace built in 1754-1762 by the architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli, it was the first building at the Palace Place extended from the Swans channel to the Admiralty, the Summer Garden, the first Garden of the city which with its narrow alleys, beautiful fountains, sculptures, pavilions is a cultural center of Saint Petersburg, Vasilievsky Island where you`ll see the first Russian museum, Kuntskamera founded by Peter the Great with interesting collection of anatomic rarities and anomalies and many other historical monuments of Saint Petersburg.
Then you`ll have an excursion to the Peter and Paul Fortress. This museum has 840000 exhibits: rare cards, plans of great architects, unique engravings, pictures, archive documents. The exhibition of the museum reflects the history of the Fortress which was built to protect the city but was used as a prison for political criminals. You will see the cemetery of Russian tsars and grand princes.
Visit to the Saint Isaac`s Cathedral which is an example of the early classicism. The height of Cathedral`s building is 101,5 m. There are 112 monolithic columns, the weight of each columns is 114 tons. During festival 14000 parishioners can take place at this Cathedral. People can enjoy the beautiful view of main city streets, the Neva river, the Winter Palace from the domes of the Saint Isaac`s Cathedral. Return to the hotel. Free time. - Day 3
Breakfast. You continue your tour to Saint Petersburg. Excursion to the State Hermitage Museum which is added to the list of four best museums of the world where you can find paintings of great artists: Michelangelo, Greco, RafaeÏl, Rembrandt, Monet, Renoir, Picasso and many others. Collection of the museum has about 3 millions of articles: 15000 paintings, 12000 sculptures, 60000 graphic works, 1000000 coins and medals, 224000 works of applied art. Return to the hotel. Free time. - Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport or railway station. Your tour to Saint Petersburg is ended. Departure from Saint Petersburg.
