Irkutsk & Lake Baikal, Tunkinskaya Valley & Arshan village

1. Day 1, IRKUTSK
   Arrival in Irkutsk. Meet by local guide and transfer to a hotel. City tour of Irkutsk to see wooden houses, churches, Znamensky Monsatery, main streets of Irkutsk, theatres and many other historical sights. After lunch at local restaurant and tasting dishes of Siberian cuisine visit to the Decembrist`s museum. Return to the hotel or homestay.
2. Day 2, IRKUTSK – TUNKINSKAYA VALLEY / ARSHAN village
   Breakfast. Departure from Irkutsk to Arshan village in Tunkinskaya Valley, 210 km from Irkutsk. Stop at the view point where the beautiful view opens at the Kultuk gulf and Khamar-Daban mountain range. We go on to Tunkinskaya valley that is famous for its mineral springs and beautiful landscapes. Arrival in Arshan.
   Accommodation in private hotel `Zamok Gornogo Korolya` (Castle of Mountain King) / `Irkut`. Lunch. Walking tour in Arshan village, to Kingirga river waterfall and Sayan Mountains. Return to a hotel. Dinner.  Russian banya (supplement service).
3. Day 3, ARSHAN village – TUNKINSKAYA VALLEY – ZHEMCHUG village
   Breakfast. Visit to the Buddhist Datsan located in the forest not far from Arshan village. Lunch in a hotel. Departure to Zhemchug village in 35 km from Arshan to visit thermal spring (Hot Metane and Carbonic water from 38 ° C till 55 ° C), you`ll have a possibility to bath in hot spring (supplement service). Return to Arshan, on the way back we visit Buddhist mortars. Arrival in hotel. Dinner. Russian banya (supplement service).
4. Day 4, ARSHAN village – CIRCUMBAIKAL RAILWAY – LISTVYANKA village
   Early breakfast. Departure to Sludyanka, 110 km from Arshan. Departure by tourist train to Port Baikal for full day excursion on Circumbaikal Railway. During excursion you`ll have 3 stops to visit galleries, tunnels, to walk in the forest and at lake Baikal shore. The train always goes on Baikal shore and you`ll have a possibility to admire beautiful landscapes of the lake. Lunch will be served for you in the train. In the evening arrival at the village Port Baikal. Departure by ferry to the village Listvianka (10 minutes). Transfer to hotels. Accommodation at hotel Krestovaya Pad +/Baikalskaye Terema or homestay.
5. Day 5, LISTVYANKA village
   Breakfast. Excursion to museum of wooden architecture `Taltsy` located 23 km from Listvianka. Return to Listvianka and visit to the observation platform to see the famous Shaman Rock. Lunch at local restaurant at the shore of the lake, tasting dishes of famous lake Baikal fish omul. Then excursion at the Baikal museum to see the flora and the fauna of lake Baikal. Visit by cable car to Mountain Chersky where a beautiful view opens at the south part of lake Baikal and the source of the Angara river. Walking tour at the village Krestovka with visit to the Saint Nicolas church. Return to the hotel or the homestay. Russian banya (supplement service).
6. Day 6, DEPARTURE
   Breakfast. Transfer to Irkutsk airport or railway station. Departure from Irkutsk.
