Trekking on lake Baikal ice

We offer you short trekking on lake Baikal ice. Days are sunny in March and Baikal ice is still very strong and transparent. During this trip you`ll admire beautiful landscapes of winter lake Baikal and you`ll walk on the ice of the deepest lake in the world.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Irkutsk. Meet with guide at Irkutsk airport. Transfer to the village Bolshoye Goloustnoye (120 km). Arrival at the village Bolshoye Goloustnoye, lunch at local cafe (Siberian dishes). After lunch preparations for trekking and departure to the cape Bolshoy Kadilny (13 km). In the evening arrival at the cordon of National Park. Accommodation at wooden guest house with fireplace and russian furnace. Dinner.
Day 2
We recommend you to get up early to meet the dawn and to make good pictures in rising sun beams. Breakfast and departure to the village Bolshye Koty (12 km). During this passage you`ll visit famous places: Skriper cape and Chayachy rock. Arrival at the village Bolshye Koty, accommodation in wooden guest house, rest. Dinner.
Day 3
Breakfast. Departure to the village Listvyanka (18 km). Arrival Listvyanka. Lunch at the local cafe. Departure to Irkutsk. In the evening arrival in Irkutsk.
